CGC is a Yorkshire based event catering company, proud to be run by the people who own the business, as it has been for the last 100 years.
We cater at 10 racecourses across Yorkshire and the North East including the world famous York racecourse, home of the prestigious Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor festival. We provide both matchday and non-matchday catering at 4 football and rugby stadia in the region and are proud to be sole caterers at unique venues such as the Yorkshire Event Centre, the Lincolnshire Showground and The Thackray Medical Museum, Leeds.
We also specialise in catering and hospitality at venues of our clients’ choosing, be it a wedding marquee in the grounds of your home or lunch service in the middle of a field at an agricultural show, our outside catering division has the necessary skills and experience to provide outstanding service for events large or small.
CGC caters at both fixed locations, such as our many racecourses, and at the locations of our clients' choices, from stately homes to your own home. We cover events large and small, from the BBC Sports Personality of the Year to a private wedding.Our experienced chefs prepare our food from scratch, often with locally-sourced ingredients. 15 of our managers and chefs are shareholders and many of our colleagues have long service with the company. At our designated racecourses we cater both within the restaurants for a more informal occasion, the exclusive boxes should you wish to reserve a private area or of course for an extra special event we can arrange a marquee for that perfect hospitality experience.
