Good Pubs and Restaurants a plenty nearby including the Cuckoo Brow Inn just around the corner and the famous Tower Bank Arms a short walk away. Historic Hawkshead just two miles away with lots of quaint little shops, cafes and Inns not to mention the beautiful little church overlooking the village.The Car Ferry is one and a quarter miles away and runs every twenty minutes.
